1) Use of YouTube API Services

Music Queue uses YouTube API Services (YouTube Data API v3 for discovery/metadata and the official YouTube embedded player for playback).

3) Information we access, collect, store, and use

• Search input you type (e.g., song/artist keywords) to perform video discovery.
• YouTube video data returned by the APIs, such as videoId, title, channel name, thumbnails, and duration.
• Operational identifiers such as venue/session identifiers and package/table codes required to place a request in the correct queue.
• Security / anti-abuse signals (e.g., approximate device/browser info and IP address) used for rate limiting, fraud prevention, and service protection.
• Queue history inside a venue (requested tracks and statuses) for operational auditing and troubleshooting.

4) How we use this information

• Show search results and display metadata before the user requests a track.
• Operate the queue (add, display order, play via embedded player).
• Enforce venue content controls (blocked styles/terms) including AI-assisted validation before accepting a request.
• Prevent abuse (rate limits, suspicious activity detection).
• Provide support and improve reliability.

5) How we share information

• With Google/YouTube: we send search/lookup requests to YouTube API Services to retrieve results/metadata and to render embedded playback.
• With the venue: requested track metadata is visible on the venue’s screens (player/queue) and admin tools.
• With service providers: we may use infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting/database) to store operational data. If credit purchases are enabled, payment providers process the transaction.

6) Cookies and similar technologies

Music Queue may store or access information on your device (for example, using localStorage or similar browser storage) to keep operational session data (like a table/package code). The YouTube embedded player and other third-party services may also use cookies or similar technologies in your browser.

7) Data retention

We retain operational data only as long as necessary for venue operation, auditing, and support. Venues may clear sessions/history as needed.
